Privacy policy
This policy explains what Simplr collects, why we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, work email, company, role, team size and any message you provide. We also collect your selected plan, referral and campaign details, IP address, approximate location, browser information and time zone to understand where enquiries come from and help prevent spam. We use your approximate country to decide which cookie choices to show. Cloudflare processes the security check and sends our confirmation emails. Account users also provide sign-in and workspace information.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to requests, provide and secure Simplr, support users and improve the service. We do not sell personal information for money.
Product analytics
We use PostHog to understand page visits and product actions. Until analytics cookies are on, PostHog stores nothing on your device: each page visit is counted on its own. We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing how Simplr is used for this limited measurement. Once analytics cookies are on, PostHog keeps an identifier in cookies and browser storage on simplrwork.com for up to 12 months, so we can follow a visit across pages. When you sign in, activity is linked to your account ID, name, email and workspace. We do not send passwords, transcripts, uploaded files or form messages to analytics, and session recording is disabled.
Advertising measurement
Only while advertising cookies are on, we load the Google Ads tag to see whether our ads lead to walkthrough requests, new accounts and purchases. Google (Google Ireland Limited in Europe, Google LLC elsewhere) processes this data under its advertising data processing terms. The tag stores the ad click you arrived from (such as a gclid) in first-party cookies on simplrwork.com for up to 90 days, and when you request a walkthrough, set up a new agency or buy a plan, we send Google that event, with a random or agency reference and, for a purchase, the checkout reference, the amount and the currency. We never send Google your name, email, invitation links or the content of your work. The tag is served from our own address, simplrwork.com/metrics, through Cloudflare’s Google tag gateway, which hides your IP address from Google. In Europe, the UK and most other countries the legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. In the United States the tag runs unless you opt out (see “Your US privacy choices”).
Cookies and your choice
Necessary cookies keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your cookie choice, so they are always on. Outside the United States, analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them; in the United States they are on unless you opt out. The site works the same either way. We store your choice in a cookie called simplr_consent, shared by simplrwork.com and app.simplrwork.com, for 6 months, and then ask again. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” (“Your privacy choices” in the United States) in the site footer or in Simplr under Settings → Preferences. When you withdraw it, we remove the related cookies; this does not affect measurement made before.
Storage and sharing
We retain information only as long as needed for these purposes and legal obligations. Service providers may process it for hosting, security, communications, analytics and advertising measurement under appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw marketing consent, by contacting privacy@simplragency.com. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from “Cookie settings”.
Your US privacy choices
If you visit from the United States, analytics and advertising cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time. Our Google Ads measurement may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as “targeted advertising”, under some US state laws. To opt out, choose “Do not sell or share my info” in the cookie notice or open “Your privacy choices” in the site footer. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out and show that it was honored. We do not sell personal information for money, we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your information, or appeal a decision about a request, by contacting privacy@simplragency.com; an authorized agent may contact us on your behalf.
